This LED lamp offers two outputs, red and warm white light from the same lamp and is ideal for many bunk side or reading light fixtures found on boats and is suitable for both 12 Volt and 24 Volt systems.

When initially switched on three red LEDs provide adequate red light for crew to see and move around the vessel at night without disturbing others. With a simple toggle of the light switch the lamp turns into a bright warm white lamp that at is equivalent to the effective light output of a 10 watt halogen lamp. A slightly delayed further toggle of the switch and the lamp reverts back to red output.

These lamps are designed to minimise EMI, unlike other similar looking lamps sold for non marine use. We utilise specially designed PCB layouts which avoid tracks acting as antenna that radiate EMI (electromagnetic interference). Buck-Boost electronic controllers are built into the lamp which ensures steady light output when the supply voltage varies.

The light output is UV free and unlike conventional lamps its light output will not fade surfaces, furnishing fabrics and attract less flying insects.

These lamps are not polarity conscious, they are fitted with a 4 independent diode bridge rectifier and can therefore be connected either way without damage.
