Boatlamps delivery information

Boatlamps uses Royal Mail 1st class and regular non tracked air mail to dispatch orders from our online shop, occasionally we may use a reputable courier. However, all UK orders over £100 are sent by Royal Mail 1st class, signed-for service therefore someone will need to be in at your shipping address to sign for your package when we attempt to deliver.

Our delivery costs are comprised of the cost of picking and packing, storage costs, the actual packaging, plus the cost of delivery itself. We strive to keep delivery costs as low as possible whilst ensuring the quick and safe delivery of customer’s purchases.

For orders under £100, Royal Mail 1st Class: £4.50
Orders over £100, Royal Mail 1st Class Signed-For: £5.50k
Next Day delivery: £12.50
Next Day delivery, when available, must be ordered before 1500hrs Mon to Friday. Next day orders received after 1500hrs on Fridays will be shipped on the following Monday or if a Bank Holiday on the Tuesday.

EU and Europe, Standard non tracked Royal Mail Airmail: £7.50
Rest of the World, Standard non tracked Royal Mail Airmail: £8.50

Once payment has been processed we aim to ship all orders within three (3) working days of receipt. Working days for us are Monday to Friday 10am - 4pm (not including UK Bank / Public Holidays).

Once an order has been despatched, actual delivery times for orders placed at are estimated as follows (though we strive to be quicker):

UK Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery: Please allow around 1–3 working days.
EU and Europe: Please allow up to 3–14 working days.
USA: Around 5-14 working days.
Australia and New Zealand: 5–15 working days.
Rest of the World: Up to 10–20 working days.

If your order is shipped by a tracked method, we will send you a tracking number.

If your order requires a signature and you are not in to sign for it, the package may then be returned to your local post sorting depot. Usually the postman will leave a “something for you” card to rearrange delivery or collection – you can arrange this here. Or they may leave it with a neighbour so don’t forget to check with them.

If you do not collect your order from your local post sorting depot it will eventually be returned to our dispatch office in UK. We can re-send parcels but this will be subject to a further shipping fee. This fee is the true cost of the re-postage charge. If you decide you would like to be refunded, the cost of the original postage will be deducted from the refund amount.

All that said, if your order has not arrived within the timescales noted above get in touch with us and we’ll do our very best find out  what happened to your order and get it to your doorstep as soon as possible.

Sorry, but we cannot replace missing orders that are received by someone else on your behalf.

We also cannot replace orders where the delivery address has been entered incorrectly by the person placing the order.

Please contact us immediately if your order is missing any products. We'll find out what happened to your order within three (3) working days and we'll get them to you as soon as possible or give you the option of a full refund of the missing items.
