Bright replacement 13 Volt DC LED Lamp suitable to economically replace 10w Halogen lamps – ideal for use in motor vehicles.

This 6 SMD G4 LED side-pin lamp fits most down-lights fittings found in road vehicles with a 12V supply and is a bright lamp and very popular. This Warm White lamp (ideal for interior use) is resistor controlled and as such requires a stable voltage. The lamp will be brightest when the vehicle is charging. This lamps will be damaged and have a significantly reduced service life if connected to voltage in excess of normal vehicle charging.

If required for use on marine vessels, Boatlamps recommend the installation of our high quality 12V Voltage Stabiliser. Alternatively, boat owners are advised to use only constant-current lamps, particularly when smart battery chargers are used.

These lamps do not emit EMI (electro-magnetic interference).

The light output is UV free and unlike conventional lamps its light output will not fade surfaces, furnishing fabrics and attract less flying insects.

These lamps are not polarity conscious they are fitted with a diode bridge rectifier and can therefore be connected either way without damage.
