Bright replacement 10-30 Volt DC LED Lamp to replace 10W Halogen lamps with added on-board voltage and current protection.

This 6 SMD LED side pin lamp has an on board electronic fuse (non-linear thermistor) and transient voltage (spike) protection and is ideal for both 12 Volt and 24 Volt systems. This EMI free lamp is an excellent fit in most halogen down-lights which utilise horizontal orientated G4 halogen bulbs. It is particularly suitable for use on boats where there is some experience of LED lamp failures.

This bright lamp compares very well in terms of both colour and light output with a standard 10W halogen lamp. An on-board Buck-Boost electronic control circuit ensures a constant bright light output when the supply voltage varies and ensures a long service life. These lamps are designed to minimise EMI, unlike other similar looking lamps sold for non marine use. We utilise specially designed PCB layouts which avoid tracks acting as antenna that radiate EMI (electromagnetic interference).

The light output is UV free and unlike conventional lamps its light output will not fade surfaces, furnishing fabrics or attract flying insects.

These lamps are not polarity conscious, they are fitted with a 4 independent diode bridge rectifier and can therefore be connected either way without damage.
