This G4 LED lamp gives a truly outstanding light output – great for overhead light fixtures that use 10-15W halogen lamps.

This 10 SMD G4 LED lamp fits most down-lights fittings found on marine vessels. It is one of the brightest lamps we supply and is very popular and is ideal for both 12 Volt and 24 Volt systems.. This lamp is fitted with our Buck-Boost electronic control circuit which ensures that the light output is consistently bright when voltage varies and lamp life is maximised.

Boat lamps also supply a specially protected range of lamps which are suitable for all craft, particularly commercial craft, where the electrical installation can contain a higher level voltage transients.These lamps are designed to minimise EMI, unlike other similar looking lamps sold for non marine use. We utilise specially designed PCB layouts which avoid tracks acting as antenna that radiate EMI (electromagnetic interference).

Warm White is recommended for interior use. Red is useful for use in a selected, switched, overhead light to illuminate below at night whilst helping to preserve night vision

The light output is UV free and unlike conventional lamps its light output will not fade surfaces, furnishing fabrics and attract less flying insects.

These lamps are not polarity conscious, they are fitted with a 4 independent diode bridge rectifier and can therefore be connected either way without damage.
