Sutars sockets have been produced and in service, internationally, for over 30 years. They offer excellent value and are really built to last. 

Screw free flush mounted with a round fixing flange secured by a rear plastic nut. This Sutars low voltage 12V/24V DC socket outlet offers complete reliability in the harsh marine environment. There are many products on the market that try to imitate this product, most only look similar but are often significantly inferior in both design detail and poor quality materials used in construction.

The metal parts of this Sutars socket are made from nickel plated brass giving the socket electrical contacts good corrosion resistance. This combined with a well sealed cap and UV stabilisation of the plastic ensures a long service life. An internal rim keeps the accessory plug securely fastened to the central contact which is countersunk to maximise connectivity.

Installation is easy with the connection to boat/vehicle wiring by standard 6.3mm push-on blade terminals (Amp Tag). Boatlamps recommend that each socket is protected by a suitably rated fuse or circuit breaker before connecting to the power source.
