Light output of this LED lamp exceeds that of our other high output LED lamps due to increased number LEDs. This new 66 SMD, 2835, lamp has a massive light output of 702 lumens.  This lamp was designed and constructed to maximise both light output and thermal efficiency particularly for use in bulkhead light fixtures where high light output is desirable. It is available in warm white (ideal for interior living areas). The lamp is ideal ideal for use on both 12 Volt and 24 Volt systems.

This bulb has our on-board propriety Buck-Boost electronic control circuit which allows the lamp to operate satisfactorily even on installations when smart battery chargers are used. The lamp is protected by a self resetting, electronic fuse and has integral voltage spike protection. These combine with 66 of the latest high output 2835 LEDs to give a consistent light output and a very long service life. 

The lamp is designed to minimise EMI, unlike other similar looking lamps sold for non marine use. We utilise specially designed PCB layouts which avoid tracks acting as antenna that radiate EMI (electromagnetic interference).

Boatlamps recommend using Contralube 770 Gel on all lamp holder contacts and other connections on your boat. This product will protect against contact corrosion which is the most common reason both LED and traditional incandescent lamps flicker or fail.

The light output is UV free and unlike conventional lamps its light output will not fade surfaces, furnishing fabrics and attract less flying insects.

These lamps are not polarity conscious as they are fitted with a diode bridge rectifier and can therefore be connected either way without damage.
