Lamp for converting bulkhead and odd shaped BA15S bayonet lights to LED.

This is a useful arrangement for fittings such as bulkhead lights and odd shaped fittings, the array can be angled for the best effect. The array can be positioned, adjusted and secured in place by using cable ties, double sided adhesive tape or even Velcro and is ideal for both 12 Volt and 24 Volt systems.

The array has a smooth back for attaching your preferred fixing method. Often two or more arrays can be located in larger overhead dome lights.

The 9SMD 5050 lamp is designed to minimise EMI, unlike other similar looking lamps sold for non marine use. We utilise specially designed PCB layouts which avoid tracks acting as antenna that radiate EMI (electromagnetic interference). We have our propriety Buck-Boost electronic control circuits built in to ensure the light output is constant even when the supply voltage varies. We give a 2 year warranty for this lamp.

Boatlamps recommend using Contralube 770 Gel on all lamp holder contacts and other connections on your boat. This product will protect against contact corrosion which is the most common reason both LED and traditional incandescent lamps flicker or fail.

The light output is UV free and unlike conventional lamps its light output will not fade surfaces, furnishing fabrics and attract less flying insects.

These lamps are not polarity conscious, they are fitted with a diode bridge rectifier and can therefore be connected either way without damage.
