This compact, planar disc lamp utilised the latest technology. It uses new high output 2835 LEDs which offer significantly increased light output compared to 5050 LEDs and have the added benefit of significantly reduced power input compared to similar 5050 lamps and is ideal for both 12 Volt and 24 Volt systems.
This 10 SMD LED side pin lamp has an on board electronic fuse (non-linear thermistor) and transient voltage (spike) protection. This low EMI lamp is an excellent fit in most halogen down-lights which utilise vertical orientated G4 halogen bulbs. It is particularly suitable for use on boats where there is some experience of LED lamp failures.
This lamp has longer back pins than standard lamps which often aided insertion into narrow fixtures, the pins can be simply trimmed to length to suit individual fixtures.
This very bright lamp compares very well in terms of both colour and light output with a 15W halogen lamp. An on-board Buck-Boost electronic control circuit ensures a constant bright light output when the supply voltage varies and contributes to a long service life. These lamps are designed to minimise EMI, unlike other similar looking lamps sold for non marine use. We utilise specially designed PCB layouts which avoid tracks acting as antenna that radiate EMI (electromagnetic interference).
This lamp is csupplied in warm white – ideal to sympathetically light your boat’s interior.
The light output is UV free and unlike conventional lamps its light output will not fade surfaces, furnishing fabrics and attract less flying insects.
These lamps are not polarity conscious, they are fitted with a 4 independent diode bridge rectifier and can therefore be connected either way without damage.
